Newsflash!

I just finished watching Josh Marshall argue with National Review Editor Richard Lowry and have a few observations. Marshall is not as an effective a debater as he is a blogger. Despite Marshall's less than stellar performance, I'd say that he still beat Lowry or was at least hold his own is a pretty big deal. Marshall is just a big time blogger and small time columnist/free lancer, while Lowry is in charge of the most important conservative weekly in the country. The fact that Marshall can basically hop of the turnip truck and give the a High Priest of American conservatism what for speaks volumes about the quality of the right's leadership in recent years.
