Morris: Independents Sway Democratic Primary
Dick Morris thinks that independent voters will be a major force in the Democratic primary, because (naturally) W. will not be challenged for the nomination and so the Independents will flock to the Democrats' primary. I'm not so sure about. First of all, it assumes that Independent voters are really want to vote and very politically active, which seems unlikely, I don't think a person can really be all that politically active if they lack a party affiliation. I think his prediction is really based on his desire to see some candidates do some "triangulation" and buck the base. Triangulation is Mr. Morris ' other fetish, the non-foot one. Sex.
