The Past few days has made it clearer that Israel is in the right, while Palestinians extremists are clearly acting in the most depraved ways. In response to the horrendous attacks against its citizens Israel has responded in a mild and measured way with no fatalities in its latest raid made by helicopter gunships. Even Kofi Annan is being more supportive (i.e. less critical) of Israel.
